look what i made!

i was recently explaining to shaun how it will be his job to say nice things to me when i say "look what i made" even if he thinks its ugly or could care less. and that statement applies to all of you too!

i just finished this layout using my new Narratives paper and i wanted to share! (karen russell is coming in 10 days, yay!!!) the pics are from shaun's birthday. he doesn't really appreciate the huge photo of his face but i love it! i had it developed at scrapbookpictures.com and it has one of Karen Russell's borders. if you haven't tried it, you must! you can change the color and add fun borders and they have great sizes, like all the little 3x3s on my layout. are you getting sick of hearing how much i love karen? no...you couldn't possibly be, because she is sooooo great! she has cute products, fun photo borders at scrapbookpics and she is an awesome scrapbooker! and she's teaching at our store...(i'm singing this and just to disclaimer, i'm highly sugared...whole box of mike n' ikes).

yummy Narratives stuff!

did you know that the yummy Narratives stuff is here?! There's new stuff like paper, transparencies & lunch bags, and old favorites like the negatives! I am so, so, soooo excited to take Karen's class. I have to tell you all, I've been working with her on getting things ready and she's great! She has planned this class so well and I think it's going to be one of the best classes we've seen at Treasury. Besides learning a ton, we are going to receive product in class too! There's a few spots left if you want to join me...

Karen Russell

I was just thinking about how I need to get signed up for a Karen Russell class and a Tim Holtz class and I realized that I am getting to have contact with and take classes from people that are CKU note-worthy. That I don't have to fly or drive or pack (well too much anyways!) or put away a bunch of money to have my scrapbooking taken in new directions. I just think I was taking for granted the people that Elizabeth and the girls are bringing into town. Pretty amazing for an independant store here in our neck of the woods. And I'm sorry if I'm bragging on them.....I just realized I better take advantage of these opportunities as they come!

Some ledger paper love...

Happy Monday morning, Ladies!  I just wanted to share a couple of my more recent pages.  Can I just say I am addicted to ledger papers?  Thanks to Carly, I can't stop using them! And, my love affair with Scenic Route continues, as well.  I think I've got it bad! LOL!  I think Carly will need to order more of the Making Memories Ledger Papers soon!  I CAN'T run out! LOL!

I also wanted to thank you all for making NSD a fun fun day at Treasury!  Great classes, great demos and great times had by all!

national scrapbook day...what fun!!

WOW!  We had so much fun on saturday...thanks to all the lovely ladies (and men!) that came and joined the fun!  I think it is soooo cool that they created a day on the calendar just for us crazy scrappers!  Sara and Stephanie deserve huge props for having such amazing classes...i heard the ladies were rantin' and ravin' about them!  and, Carly and Elke, way to rock those demos and for putting on such a successful event!  As for Elizabeth, Tammy, Alissa, Kim and I...way to go running the rest of the show!  WE ROCK!  i just have to say "congrats" to all of those that will be getting the CRICUT...i am super jealous!  i cannot wait to play when it gets here...so, if you haven't pre-bought yours yet, come play when we get it in (we'll let you know when it gets here...believe me!)
