so have you seen this bo bunny layout around the store? miss sandy made it and isn't it awesome?! it's one of my favorites right now. i love the way she made the cute little flaps and i love all her hand-written journaling.

and speaking of bo bunny, we have some really cute new bo bunny stuff coming! school, birthday and beautiful fall lines. i'm so excited! and just fyi, we are expecting more awesome bo bunny flex rulers, (looks like it might be september-ish though).

felt love

hi everyone! i might be at home with a 12-day old baby (who is doing GREAT, by the way - he's up to 5 pounds 5 ounces today), but i still have found time to scrapbook! pretty soon i'll have some projects in the store showing off my beautiful boy, Davey. but in the meantime, i wanted to show you what i made even though i couldn't attend the felt party last night with carly and elizabeth:

the whole project took about 20 minutes. i used 6 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock (red, brown and blue), two small felt bags, two binder rings, buttons, a ghost heart and a circle punch. i removed the white string from the felt bags, cut my cardstock to size, punched circles out of the cardstock scraps, adhered the buttons & the ghost heart to the cover (using the new Zip Glue) and there you have it... a ready-made book perfect for wallet-sized photos - and it stands up on it's own! i made this little gem for myself, but i think i'll let dave take it to work which just means i have to make one for myself, right?!

so i LOVE the heidi swapp masks! you've probably seen my little how to board around the store or had to listen to me talk about them. and here i go again!  :)

i just wanted to show off these awesome samples that miss tamara made (before davey came,) with some of the alphabet masks. aren't they awesome?! i never really thought of using them on cards but now i can't wait to try it.

Come Dunk Elke!

That's right...we're participating in the Cordata Community Festival this Saturday, July 28th, 12-5pm in the parking lots of Cordata Place (right across from Treasury!).

There's fun for all ages including a bounce house, giant slide, free hot dogs, family entertainment, car and motorcycle show and oh yes, a dunk tank!

Our very own Elke is scheduled to be the "featured guest" in the dunk tank from 1:30-2:00pm! Everyone who tries to dunk Elke will receive a 30% off coupon for one item from Treasury and if you successfully dunk Elke, you'll receive an additional prize of a $10 gift certificate!

ideas with embossed paper...

hi everyone,

there's an awesome article in the new september ck (jennifer mcguire's of course,) about using embossed paper. i'm loving the love,elsie embossed paper, which jennifer uses in her article and alissa just did an awesome layout with it too. jennifer traced and stitched around some of the patterns. and the lovely miss alissa brushed paint lightly over the top. very cool!

felt purse party!

so remember how when i was telling you about the new felt bags from provo, i was saying we should have a party to play with them? well we are going to! join me and elizabeth on thursday night at the store, from like 7pm to 8pm. it's totally casual, just bring whatever you want, pick-up a felt bag and we'll just have fun chatting and decorating some felt bags. here's a little one i did today with some new flower beads...

i'm really excited to do a bigger one from my bud kelly in colorado, she loves purses! i was thinking iron-ons...

so hopefully you can come hang out thursday night...i'll bring the chocolate.

"7 Gypsies" tuesday cards

Tomorrow is Tuesday and you know what that means?  TUESDAY CARD CLASS...YAY! 

Our featured company is "7 Gypsies" (25% off all 7 gypsies products this week!), and we will be using one of their fantastic sticker sets.  (Yes, EACH attendee gets their very own set of stickers...you will have lots and lots extra!)
