Seriously.... can you believe it's ALREADY JUNE?! I am IN SHOCK! It's crazy how quickly this year is flying by (do I really only have a month or so left to plan the PERFECT 1st Birthday Party?!)! But ONE GOOD THING about the start of a new month is.... NEW GOODIES AT THE STORE! Including one of my favorites to watch for every month, the STAMP OF THE MONTH! This month, we really outdid ourselves to bring you a perfect stamp set that really seems to match with the month. I LOVE the huge daisy flower (then again, daisies ARE my favorite) and all the different words in this set. Plus, there's some really cute smaller stamps that make GREAT backgrounds - which means you can MAKE that PERFECT PIECE of patterned paper you need to finish a card or a layout. Are you ready to see this month's creations? I was so inspired by the stamps.... and by the beautiful and talented Miss Carly, that we (well, she!) chose some bright, fun, summer-y colors and I opted to choose the same colors for class. That cute little one in front is an expanding card/mini book. I thought it was about time for some photos of my darling Davey to make their debut in class... and this was the perfect little project! I look forward to seeing you at 1 and 7 p.m. this Tuesday to make these three summer-y cards! stamp of the month matchbook
here's a little matchbook card we created with the june stamp of the month (set see it here). to make it we used a great new technique from jennifer mcguire's article in the last creating keepsakes...put the clear stamp on the arcylic block upside down (so the part you normally ink and stamp is sticking to the block) and it creates a shadow stamp. isn't it cute?! we loved it and stamped the big flower that way all over this little matchbook.
and one more great thing about this little matchbook card, you can fit candy inside! just use a removable glue dot to stick it down.

new goodies!
new scenic route liberty is here! it is beautiful red, white and blue and just says summer! we are loving it so much and we have a bunch of awesome TOM girl projects that i will share with you later this week.
we also have new glitter thickers! so fun and sparkly.
and we finally have more fiskars threading water punches! it's a really cute scalloped border punch and has been so popular that we sold out the first day and we had to wait months for fiskars to send us more. in addition to that punch, we also got 2 new cute borders, leave it to weaver and lacy days of summer.

Introducing Fiesta
Hello Everyone!
