It's Christmas at Tuesday Cards!

 

(In a singy-songy voice) " 'Tis the season for Tuesday cards, falalalala-lalalala!"  Okay, every season is a season for Tuesday cards, but making holiday cards is especially fun!  And when you have really great supplies to choose from like papers by Luxe, & super glittery-sparkly papers by Doodlebug, well, it's just down-right fabulous.  Now, if you haven't introduced yourself to our new friend, the Luxe line, you must do so ASAP!  They have such fun colors & patterns that simply go with EVERYTHING!!  So, if you're looking to add to your Christmas card-making collection & want to have a great time doing so, grab your trimmer, scissors, $5, & some adhesive, & come join us on Tuesday, at either 1:00 or 7:00.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Santa's Workshop is only a week away...WOW! Lisa and I would love for you to join us for a fun filled crafting day, next Saturday the 6th from 10-3. You'll leave with 5 projects, perfect for gift giving, or we won't tell if you just keep them for yourself! We'll be making 2 minibooks...one 6x6, a perfect book to write all your favorite things about Christmas and then add pictures of them...I'm so excited to fill this one out. We're also going to put together a fun 4x6 calendar book...one side has a calendar and the other has room for a wallet and a quote about the month.

We'll also be creating an adorable wall hanging, a set of 3 Christmas ornaments, and a VERY fun shadow box Christmas picture frame. I hope to see you there!

It's Tuesday Cards!

 

Well, it's Tuesday, & with Tuesday comes those three little cards!  I used paper from My Mind's Eye Laundry line which is all sparkly & pretty, perfect for making fun Christmas cards.  I've even added jingle bells to one of them;  I am livin' on the card-making edge, my friends! :)  ANYways....we'd love to see you today at 1:00 or tonight at 7:00 for class!  Just bring your adhesives, scissors & trimmer, & for only $5 you too, can make these three cute cards!

card of the week

so i not only have a card for you but a bunch of info too. are you ready?

supplies:

• My Mind's Eye Laundry Line patterned paper (card & holly)
• Cream cardstock
• VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink
• My Mind's Eye Laundry Line Natural Embark stamp set (cool distressed lines, only $2.49)
• Doodle Christmas stamp set
• red button & cream floss

instructions:

• cut vine glitter paper 5"x8" and fold into card.
• cut cream cardstock 3.25"x4.5" and tear edges to make about 2.75"x4.5".
• stamp lines in sepia on top and bottom of cream rectangle and add message.
• die cut holly (it's part of Treasury's die cut collection) from print paper and adhere to card.
• add floss to button and adhere to card.
• isn't that so cute?!

"Holiday Memories" mini book kit...

The infamous "Advent Calendars!"

So we took these two beautiful projects down to Bellevue last weekend for the convention and they stole the show (well atleast in our booth!)...everyone was wanting to create these beauties! And lucky for you, they're on display at Treasury so you can come see them in person!

This first one is a 24x24 canvas with sweet little paper bags attached to the front...Lisa decorated using all sorts of fun goodies by Making Memories' FaLaLa collection. :)

 

...and this 2nd beauty is created by Miss Julie. It's a 12x12 magnetic calendar. Amazing, right? She added all sorts of fun goodies for each day of the month....we are in awe! (One fun trick she implemented was to keep some of the numbered days non-holiday so you could reuse them for other months). Come on in and take a peek...we'd love to see you soon! --Elizabeth :)
