Canvas Rocks.

Check out our latest canvas sample...do you love it?

It features the new "Bella Bella" line by My Mind's Eye (and an adorable photo of my boys!). To create your own, you'll need a 16x16 canvas, 3.75x3.75 pieces of patterned paper, a "paper corugator," and paint for your canvas. Pretty simple, right?

Here's a close up of the corrugated paper...isn't it a fun way to add a little dimension?

2 and 2 for $22?

Anyone remember Chuck Woolery's famous line..."we'll be back in two and two"?  Elizabeth and I loved his show Love Connection back in the 80's...it was awesome.  (C'mon admit it...you loved it too!)

I'm borrowing his line for my upcoming class and I just love to say the line over and over again with doing the two fingers twisting back and forth.  :) 

We will be creating TWO MINI BOOKS and TWO CARDS for just $22!  And the featured line?  The hip and trendy Creative Cafe!   (Have you checked it out yet?  It's been so popular that some products sold out in the very first week!)

This fun class will be scheduled soon, but I was just so excited that I had to tell you about it now.  Here's a quick look at the four projects featuring Creative Cafe felt, flowers, ribbon, paper, tags, acetate, and buttons.  So looking forward to sharing it all with you!

Oh the wonderful power of photo editing...we'll be chatting about that and creative ways to get yourself in your own photos this Friday at our Capturing YOU class from 6-8pm. I will show you three different ways to create this unique style of photo using Photoshop Elements, a free online photo-editing website, AND how to do it without any computer at all (insert shock and awe....now).

Also included in the class is of course this fun canvas project, a little photo session with yours truly, and a wonderful pampering "Satin Hands" demonstration from Mary Kay. It is sure to be a fun night and a great way to escape with some gal pals for the evening. The cost is only $20 and you can reserve a spot by calling the store at 715-3125. I hope to see you there!

Tuesday Cards with a twist...

or should I say "pop"?  Come join us for Tuesday card class at Treasury with Miss Teresa.  It's only $5 and you will be creating three sweet, spring inspired cards with glitter, bling, some pearls and a special twist.

Please bring your usual supplies (adhesive, trimmer, scissors, etc.) and in addition bring a scoring blade for your trimmer if you have one, a ruler and a pencil. 

 

Get ready for some inspiring crafting that will have you wanting to create more...

Fancy Pants "Specially Priced" Goodies!

 

 

We just received a fun shipment of some Fancy Pants' goodies (most are from the '08 collection...'09 should be here in March)...and oh my goodness! They are adorable AND we were lucky to score some sweet deals to share with YOU! Everything is marked about 60-75% off retail! Sweet, huh?

Amy and I both had fun making mini books...hers is the top one and features the "clear collection" which includes the pages of the mini book plus lots of great shapes! (Isn't it adorable and the pics of her and Max are awesome!) The ribbon and rub-ons are also from the Fancy Pants collection!

Mine is the 2nd one using all sorts of fun pieces from the "felt collection"...so much fun! The "boy series" includes all sorts of rockets, dinosaurs, frogs, snails, arrows, cars, and more! I used some of the leftovers to make extra special lunch box notes...I couldn't resist...they're so fun!

And Miss Sara created an awesome scrapbook page AND a 12x12 canvas too (It's soooo fun!).  (I'll get pics on Monday and add them to this post.)

Ready to have a ton of fun AND help children?

We are gearing up for our SIXTH annual 20 Hour Benefit Crop...and we'd love for YOU to join in the fun!

Here's the scoop:

1. The event begins at 5pm on Friday, April 17th...and ends at 1pm on Saturday, April 18th. That's right...we're pulling an "all nighter!"

2. We ask every attendee to raise $100 (or more!) from a personal donation or from family, friends and associates.

3. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to donate to Children's Hospital and SISU.

4. You will enjoy lots of delicious food...thanks to some really, really special friends at Dream Dinners.

5. You will also enjoy a fun mini book kit AND a goody bag.

6. You can come and go as you please...and you're welcome to bring a sleeping bag, find a quiet corner in a nearby room, and then come back refreshed after a quick nap. It's totally up to you...we may or may not rummage through your stuff while you're gone. (Just kidding.)

7. Attendees love our crazy sales we hold throughout the night at the store (we're just across the parking lot from CTK church where the event is held.)

8. Please register ASAP with a $20 deposit. (Register by April 1st and you'll enjoy a 40% off one item coupon...woo hoo!)

9. There are info packets available at the store...or we can also mail you one too. We want to keep it easy for you!
