Oh the Silhouette...

Do you sort of feel like you're a witness to a "love affair" between me and my Silhouette? I stay up late with it...I talk about it endlessly...it's become so "special" to me...I mean really? I'll stop with the sappiness and instead, share with you a few very simple scrapbook pages that were made in minutes using some photos, a patterned paper or two and my trusty Silhouette...

 

This "mom" layout was such an easy way for me to document some thoughts I had on my firstborn "teaching" me to be a mom. I used six older photos that were floating around, black cardstock to mat them, a 12x12 sheet of ledger paper and "mom" cut from my Silhouette. Seriously like a 3 minute layout...gotta love it!

 

This "Bummy Bum" title was made using the "Quickstripz" sticker sheets which makes letter application a breeze...even with this crazy font!

 

This layout not only uses a title made from the Silhouette, but also a little branch from their on-line collection. Oh and of course, I had to use my 2nd favorite tool (the corrugator) to add a little texture.

what are YOU doing this Saturday????

There are so many fun happenings at TOM right now that is hard to get excited about each little one....but let me tell you about our crop this Saturday from 2-10pm. Not only do you get eight uninterrupted (kid free, whiny husband free, distracting piles of laundry free) hours of crafty time in our classroom with free use of our die cuts and supplies....this Saturday, we have some special guests dropping in!

We have our very own Fiskateers coming by to set up a wonderful card "buffet" where you get to make a card with new Fiskars products and tools. Also, included in the small price of just $15 is a yummy dinner and snacks, your very own goodie bag full of fun product, and a couple of door prizes up for grabs.

We would be so honored to have you (and a friend or two) join us this Saturday!
