So excited that December is here...what a joyful time of the year! And with my fun lil' 25 days of Christmas book, I'm eager to treasure everyday holiday moments! My family's first entry focuses on our "Advent Calendar" tradition. Each year, we do something a little different (but alas every year, my planning is ALWAYS at the last minute!)...it just adds to the excitement right?
This year, Jackson and Thomas (my sweet lil' guys) will be hunting everyday for their advent calendar....each day the goodies will be in a little decorated paper bag nestled in bigger unit. (It's actually one of the Creative Imaginations' wine bottle boxes...appropriate for kids, right?). Wanna see a picture?
(I used the vinyl numbers and lettering from the "25 days of Christmas" kit....thanks Heidi for scoring me an "extra" set!) My plan is to take at least one photo a day (print weekly), and journal every night....I'm keeping it pretty simple. Here's day one (I'll add the photo on the back of the journaling card).
