Announcing our "June Vinyl of the Month!"
This set is part of our new “Vinyl of the Month” program...wouldn't it be an awesome gift!? Weddings, anniversaries...you name it!
Vinyl gives you the look of hand painted lettering with out the laborious effort! It takes just minutes to apply! Includes three 12x12 thin canvases* and a custom vinyl! A wonderful addition to your home or to give as a unique gift for family and friends!
Customize with last name and a year...and choose from either the “Traditional” (Serif ) or the Contemporary” (Script). Consider partnering as shown above with three 12x12 thin canvas pieces or with your choice of frames. Depending on the font you select and the length of the last name, the vinyl will be approximately 28-32 inches long and 5-7 inches high (the height is higher if your name is longer as we will increase the font size).
To adhere photos to canvas, we suggest using a thin line of heavy duty adhesive around the edges of the photos. (We personally love QuickGrip!)
*If you'd prefer to only order the vinyl expression, please select the product labeled "Family Vinyl." The vinyl expression by itself is just $17.The custom vinyl and three 12x12 canvas pieces are $35.

More about Men!
... continuing on last weeks post about men, here are a few other things I've discovered about men:
Men like their cars
So why not create something fun for them to express themselves on their car with? A favorite logo, like this Autobots logo from the movie Transformers,or a favorite quote or tag line.... its so fun to do something personalized!
Men are big nerds.
Why not take make him a personalized T-shirt using a line from one of his favorite movies or TV shows? I created the above police box image (from the BBC Scifi show Doctor Who) using the Silhouette's "Create Outline" feature.
I loved how since I was making this custom, I could add the fun extra quote to the back of the neckline! Or how about a lamp from the silhouette online store with the Anchorman quote "I love lamp"? Or if he's into video games a custom T-shirt using his online handle? Maybe a customized sports bag?
You just need to design yourself something amazing, cut it IN REVERSE on heat transfer vinyl, and follow the directions on the package to iron it to the surface of your choice! It is super easy and CHEAP!
Our local customers can stop in during our pick-up hours to pick up their choice of flocked or smooth heat transfer!
Tips for Crafting for Guys
- KISS--keep it simple, silly. Generally our men like clean, simple lines, and don't like the frou-frou stuff that keeps us ladies happy.
- Choose fonts and lettering that are simple and manly. The most popular fonts I have had requested by and for men are old fashioned typewriter fonts, century schoolbook, and arial.
- Your Creativity+His Interests= GENIUS

"Summer School" @ the Warehouse

Do you LOVE canvas?
Thanks to your input, we've added CANVAS to our on-line website. We are only featuring sizes that are reasonable to ship (4x4, 5x5, 6x12 and 12x12). Larger sizes are available in our warehouse.
