I love typography & letterpress. I can name off random fonts used in movie credits. Instead of being addicted to Angry Birds I am addicted to Typewar.
I've been seeing a lot of gorgeous letterpress inspired art on the internet & on etsy, and decided to create my own version of it... using, of course, VINYL!
VINLY doesn't just have to be a one-color deal; you can layer and mix and match different colors to create something truly dynamic and fun!
I was originally just going to use a grungy font and high quality printing, but I realized something... I'll take canvas over a frame any day of the week. Makes me feel more arty.

This would be a wonderful beginners project for Silhouette & Cricut users. This particular canvas is 8x10, so the Silhouette cuts the perfect size!
You just need to design two parts to this... the black gibberish, and your colored words.
A helpful hint: Decide, beforehand, how many letters you want on each line... it will make your project look more even & professional.
There are lots of fonts available for free on the internet that already look distressed & grungy. So fun!
