Well, boys and girls, thanks to the magic of Pinterest we have blown through our entire stock of canvas and are no longer carrying the Established Canvas Kit. It was really fun to see our kit being shipped all over the United States... and even to a few fun places overseas!
If you already have the supplies--(4) 4x4 canvases, ribbon, and a strong adhesive--here's a quick little tutorial on how to put this project together yourself.
You can still order the custom vinyl from me, just shoot me an email at heidi(at)decoratingyourlife(dot)com!

ESTABLISHED KIT INSTRUCTIONS:
- First, order your vinyl by emailing me with the last name and year you would like.
- Next, gather all your supplies, and let's craft!
- trim photos to approximately 3.75x3.75 squares.
- adhere to canvas using a little bit of your strong adhesive (I recommend and QuickGrip). Press Firmly to ensure a good seal.
- clean one canvas with a damp cloth and let dry. If you decide to pain your canvas, be sure to let the paint dry for 24 hours before you apply your vinyl.
- Apply custom vinyl. Not sure how it works? Check out this simple little video, featuring my gorgeous boss, here.
- lay canvas pieces face down on table in the order you desire. Apply QuickGrip to back of canvas where ribbon will attach.
- place ribbon on top of canvas pieces and press firmly to ensure a good seal between the ribbon and the canvas.
- cut extra ribbon off the bottom. We cut our bottom piece of ribbon just a few inches below the last canvas.
- Tie a simple know with extra ribbon, and adhere it to the top of the canvas ribbon with a little dab of QuickGrip.
- Let the QuickGrip dry.
- Enjoy your super cute new canvas decor!
SOME EXPERT TIPS:
- Order 4x6 photos with a matte finish and use a paper trimmer to trim them down. The matte finish makes the photos really blend with the canvas.
- You can use a light grained sand paper on the edges of the photos after they are adhered to the canvas to help the edges "blend" more naturally.
