I absolutely LOVE this quote and it's so true!....come learn how to take amazing photos and get comfortable with your DSLR camera this Saturday at my monthly photo walk!

If you have that fancy camera you've been dreaming of but still are shooting in its automatic function and want to do more, this is the class for you! The class will take place this Saturday, August 22nd from 10am - noon and will include an hour of instruction (with notes) and an hour of walking near the store to practice the skills we just learned. The cost is only $15 so you can't afford to miss it! Please call the store with any questions and to sign up...there are only 10 spots available for this month's class.

I am so in love with all Teresa Collins product and this new class taught by Miss Melanie is no exception....

This "Ice Cream Social" will be taking place Monday, July 27th from 1-3pm and only costs $28! The projects would be perfect for children ages 7 and up.....

Included in the class are the magnetic board and frame project, two cards, and a sweet little mini-book PLUS ice cream (pretty much the best part...especially if the sun graces us with its presence that day).

PHOTO WALK (hot July morning edition)

That's right, we're doing another photo walk photography workshop coming up later this month. Interested in a little bit of this?
 
If you have a DSLR and are still confused about what all those fancy settings and buttons mean, this is the class for you!! Please check the original blog post for basic information on what this workshop will include.

This workshop will be Saturday, July 25th (right in the middle of our fantastic birthday sale) from 10am-noon and only costs $15! I promise you will leave the class with a ton of ideas, questions, and inspiration for improving your photography skills.... call the store today to sign up as we limit the number of students to 10 per class.

Miss Lisa has 3 super cute little cards for everyone's Tuesday Card fix!
 
I made Alissa model them for me.  They are the sweetest cards!  She used the fun Cosmo Cricket 'Early Bird' line...and you can make them next Tuesday.
You probably know the drill...just come with your basic supplies (scissors, adhesive, trimmer) and your 5 buckolas...at either 1 or 7pm...and you can make all three of them. :)

June Paper Party

Do you want to see what we are making at Paper Party this month? Something really cool. At least I think so. I should though, I made it. :) In fact, I will be your Paper Party teacher this month, too. I've never taught Paper Party. So, you have to be nice to me. OK?

Here's the project.

 
It's a mini book made out of a file folder using the BRAND NEW Little Yellow Bicycle Travel line. Fun, right?

Don't know what Paper Party is? It's a FREE class held on the 3rd Saturday of the month to the first 20 people who sign up for each class.

Taking the Scenic Route at Tuesday Cards...

 

This week for Tuesday Cards, we get to use our super-fun Scenic Route papers.  I absolutely LOVE the colors & patterns, they are very yummy & summery!  They remind me of popsicles & jolly ranchers & fun summer clothes & flowers in mason jars & picnics & fresh veggies from the garden & all of that kind of stuff.  And I've also created a couple of the cards with spaces for fun pictures, so bring some of your favorite pics!  (You can also add them later.) 

And you know the Tuesday Card drill:  $5 for 3 REALLY fun cards, bring your trimmer, adhesives, scissors, etc., & join us Tuesday at either 1 or 7 pm or both!
