And they are amazing.  So cute.
Can I just say here...that when the Big Brown Truck comes, I get just a little bit giddy?
Not every day can be something new and fabulous...I mean, sometimes it's glue.
Not that glue isn't fabulous.  (Now I feel a little bad for glue.)
But this stuff...yeah.  Fabulous.

This one is called Bliss, and I'm especially excited about it.  Because it is ska-reamin' my daughter's name.  (Isabelle......can you hear it?)  Pink and super-girly.

This one has me seeing a mini book for some reason.
Then again, I see mini books pretty much everywhere.  :)

I love argyle.
On a side note...
I wore argyle socks on the first day of seventh grade.  They were blue.
My polo shirt was mauve with yellow stripes, so I'm not exactly sure why in the world I was wearing blue argyle socks.  I was a nerd.  I freely admit that.

Because we just got in a schwack of new Sassafras goodies that you're going to love! :)
There's two new lines...Sweet Marmalade:
 
Which is just full of the funnest, brightest colors ever!
And Monstrosity...which is just perfect for the little monster in your life.
 
The papers are double sided, plus they have a decorative edge too.
The very talented Miss Elizabeth did THE cutest mini book using this line...
 
Isn't that great?  She used an 8 1/2" x 11" SEI album together with all the fun monstery goodness...and her monster book was born.  Ok...there was probably a little bit of creativity and inspiration stuck in the middle...but there you have it.  A super cute book.

There's also a whole lotta felt fun going on...check out the Sassafras felties:
 
You really have to see them in real life to appreciate all the little details.
Like the googly eyes on the banana.  Because, really...anyone who puts googly eyes on a banana has sheer genius goin' on. 
There's also chipboard letters, paper whimseys, blossoms & brads....

As exciting as all those things are...we're a scrapbook store.

Yes!  Did you guess Mistletoe?  (The Making Memories kind...because while you're invited to get as excited as you want over REAL mistletoe...we're pretty squealy over the paper stuff.)

There is so, so, so, so, SO much more!  You have to come in and see for yourself.
It's enough to put a cranky person in the spirit of Christmas, and all that.

Fall is my favorite.

Definitely my favorite season.  My favorite time for taking pictures...I just love it.
So much so...I decided a mini book was in order.
 
Plus I was loving the Pink Paislee line...Amber Road.  So that's what I used for the book.
It's a 6" x 12" book (mostly)...at least, that's what the covers are.  The insides are different sizes. 
I like mixing it up like that.
  
In the book I listed the reasons I love fall.  And these are in no particular order.
It's completely a coincidence that the number one reason is back to school.
Really.
 
I used some of the fun new Thickers...and took some sandpaper to them.  Distressed them a little.
 
I even cheated a bit and used some Pink Paislee 'Twilight' Halloween line.
After all, Halloween is in the fall, right?
 
Some of our fun Amber Road line is on re-order.  And we are stalking the Big Brown Truck daily for it.
But it's coming soon, I promise.
  
I wanted to show you the Scenic Route chipboard leaves in the book.  I painted them, let them dry...and then used crackle paint.  So. Fun.  Then I added a clear sticker (a little piece from the border ones) and ribbon.
I have to say I am loving the crackle effect.

So there you have it.  Not to toot my own horn or anything...it really is one of my favorite books. ;)

New goodies!

We just got in a brand-spankin-new line...it's called Scrap Within Reach, and it's fabulous. :)
There's 2 different sets to choose from...Carnival Ride & Paper Boy.
 
Carly's holding Carnival Ride.  You can see a little bit on that one paper...it's a ferris wheel.  Too cute.  This line would be perfect for all your Fair pictures.  I think I'm going to make a mini book.  In fact, it's already done.  (In my head.)

Such a fun line.  I especially like the bicycle.  I just got a new bike, by the way.  Except it's pink. 
It doesn't matter...these papers are amazing.

Who knew when we created our first Christmas in July magnetic calendar kit that all you customers out there would jump-start such an excitement for the rest of our magnetic calendar kits?!? You just can't enough and well, neither can we!
 
Here are our three newest kits....one for Thanksgiving/November and then the other two are theme calendars (Sports and Family) where you have enough titles to switch out and create any month during the year! Here are some close up shots so you can see all the cuteness in each kit....

Collage Press...

Have you taken a look at our Collage Press goodies?
I am loving them.  All those cool tag and ledger papers were definitely calling my name.
Miss Alissa did a beautiful layout with the Knave of Hearts line.
I grabbed a little bit of several different lines and made a mixed media mini book.  I am really into those lately.  I just love having all different sizes and materials in one book.
 
I had piles and piles of pictures laying around.  And so in honor of school starting soon (22 more days, but who's counting?) I did my version of the "What I did on my summer vacation" essay everyone gets to write on their first day back.
It's an 8x8 chipboard book, but the insides are all different sizes.
 
Picture pages, pocket pages...
 
I found a baseball card sheet protector that I cut down to fit into the book.
 
That's my wild boy.  If you come into the store, you can see what's on the other side.
Or maybe I'll just tell you.  In a moment of weakness, he let me draw an "I love mom" tattoo on his arm.  And a nipple ring.  What kind of mom does that?  I guess the kind who does it and then takes a picture of it.
And then puts it in a mini book for all the world to see.
I love you Ian.
